Are activities on your property affected by policies in the Source Protection Plan?

Check the map links below.

Find out how.  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3...

1.   Click on the map for your community in the list below.  (Be patient, some of the maps are large and may take a few moments to load.)

2.   Once the map is displayed, enter your address in the search bar or zoom in.

3.   Click on the location of your property. If it is within a designated vulnerable area, information about the area and a link to the policy summaries will pop-up. Click on the policy link to learn more about the different policies that apply in your area.

If you would like clarification or additional information, or if you would like higher resolution maps, please contact the Source Protection Staff at the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority.  705-474-5420 or email dwsp.comments@nbmca.ca

Note: Vulnerable areas each have subcategories. It is important to determine both the vulnerable area (ex. Intake Protection Zone - IPZ) and the category (ex. IPZ-1, IPZ-2, or IPZ-3).

The SP Plan Policies came into effect July 1, 2015.
